Leah Desserich
I became interested in Pilates in 2003 while I was teaching 7th grade special education. I absolutely fell in love with it and what it did for me. Not only did my body take on a new shape, but I gained a enormous understanding of movement and body awareness. It seemed like a very natural thing to get certified and begin to teach myself.  Teaching Pilates combines my background as a 7th grade school teacher with my past experiences in competitive gymnastics and dance. In 2006 I went to The Body Arts and Science Institute to receive my Mat certification. I am always studying and finding new and inventive ways to teach. I am also certified in or have done workshop to learn about Pi-Yo , TRX , pre-natal Pilates, knee and hip replacements and more.

I currently the owner of Just Breathe Pilates. I also teach at Roche. I am the mother of two wonderful children (Hudson 9 and Lila 7). I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2011, an auto-immune disease that attacks healthy joint tissue. Because of Pilates I have very few flare ups. It is an absolute blessing that Pilates was brought into my life.

I have a Bachelors degree from Ball State University and a Masters in education from Anderson University. I have been a cheerleading coach, diving coach, gymnastics coach, and academic tutor for many kids over the years.

I have always enjoyed the fitness world and am looking forward to working with you!

Krista Francis
I started teaching Group Fitness in 2001. I was always physically active growing up with gymnastics, cheerleading, dance and ballet. then in college, I stopped being active and hated what I had become. So I started working out in the fitness center and stated taking group fitness classes. I fell in love with fitness again but now at a different stage in my life. After college i had to get a real job an found no time or money to stay with it. I decided to become a certified instructor and began teaching 5am classes at the local YMCA. Since then I have been a stay at home mom with fitness as my passion.
I have been teaching for 13 years and every time I teach I still get butterflies. The participants in my class inspire me daily to work harder and smarter.
I spend time researching and developing my classes daily. I rarely do the same class twice. I have two mottos... 1. If is doesn't challenge you, it wont change you. 2. You have to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. Thats where the magic happens.
I am AFAA certified as a group fitness instructor. I am also TRX certified and cycle certified. I specail ize in interval training and boot camp style workouts.

LORRI HERALD

Lorri's love for working out began in college when she studied Exercise Science and Psychology at IUPUI. Her passion for Pilates began with a VCR tape which promised long, lean sculpted muscles. Fast forward several years, she turned to Pilates to work on the body's imbalances which had led to her chronic neck and back pain. Fulfilling a dream, Lorri began her studies with body Arts and Science International Academy to become a Pilates Instructor. She is now inspired to help others to find their body's balance. The beauty in the precision of each movement is what leads us to harmony.
