About YoPi (Yoga-Pilates)
PiYo is a hybrid workout combining mind/body practices such as yoga and Pilates, as well as principles of sports stretch, strength training and dynamic movement to improve strength, flexibility, balance, core stability, reduce stress, and provide a mild cardiovascular effect. PiYo is a non-traditional form of yoga and Pilates in combination with constant movement and flow from one exercise to the next.
About TRX Suspension Training
TRX is a type of training that uses gravity and your own body weight to build strength, power, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability, all while preventing injuries, and increasing bone density.
About Circuits or Stations
Circuits and Station are classes I developed to change "Pilates" up a bit. You will still do basic Pilates moves using a variety of small apparatus (ie sponge ball, big ball, rings, TRX) but you will move from one Mat to another. Everyone in the class is doing something different. Each exercise will last about 2 mins before moving to the next one.
About Small Apparatus
Small Apparatus classes are classical Pilates with the use of tools such as sponge ball, balance ball, ring, weights, foam roller, towels, bands, etc... It is designed to change up the classical format without taking out the classical movement.
About Beautiful Basics (Sassy Sixties)
This class was developed mainly for mature women in or around the age of 60. We work on breathing, flexibility, balance, strength, and of course LOTS of laughter!! We use different small apparatus at times to modify or intensify the exercises. This class is not limited to women in their 60's!! It is a slower pace Pilates class that can benefit anyone
Pilates High Intensity, Interval Training!!! This Class is Pilates Meets Boot Camp! Its taught in many different ways. The idea is to get your heart rate up for short bursts of time and then let it come back down again.
About Kids YoPi
Kids YoPi is designed to help kids become more aware of their bodies though balance, breathing, strength, flexibility, and control. Not only will they get an awesome workout but they will have a great time learning new things including arm balances and headstands!
About BARRE/Pilates Fusion
Barre is a mixture of Pilates, Yoga, and basic ballet to help strengthen and sculpt the leg muscles. At Just Breathe we we created a fusion class that spends 15 to 20 mins working through safe movements to focus on legs and gluts. Then working into our classical Pilates routine focusing on core, back, and arms!
